The School of Social Policy, Sociology, and Social Research (SSPSSR) is making available a number of scholarships for excellent students wishing to join one of the most successful schools of social science in the UK and Europe. We are a member of the ESRC South East Doctoral Training Centre, host an Erasmus Mundus doctoral programme on Cultural Global Criminology, and offer world class supervisory expertise from outstanding international scholars based in social policy, sociology, criminology, cultural studies, social research, learning disability, community care and social work.
SSPSSR is home to a thriving postgraduate community of over 200 students and offers a large, diverse and well-funded range of School Seminars, Professional Development Programmes, Advanced Training Seminars,Transferrable Skills Training, Writing/Career Workshops (home and abroad), and a Certificate in Teaching in order to enhance postgraduate experience and employability.
